Cathy Brindel,

Born in Dole, Jura, I arrive in Sète, discover the sea and meet Robert Combas, start a complicity that opens me up to painting, to art.

We form a vibrant friendship with Hervé Di Rosa. The three of us create Batô, an assemblagist and collective journal made manually in total freedom.

At the same time, the musical group Les Démodés is formed.

In this inspiring environment, I draw, paint and make small sculptures, plaster animals in bright colors exhibited at the Fiac by the Galerie Yvon Lambert.

Fed by this exciting and founding experience, I continue on my path without ever turning my back on creation.

I make what I live the material of my work.
